Shane Tracy, PA-CShane collaborates with Patrick Denard, MD, to provide care to patients with shoulder disorders. Shane is a world traveler having served nearly 15 years in the military as a Medic and Physician Assistant. After his service he began working at the Oregon Shoulder Institute with Dr. Patrick Denard. His primary focus is on the initial diagnosis and treatment of complicated acute traumatic and chronic shoulder conditions alike. He completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies with the Interservice Physician Assistant Program University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants. Shane is passionate about research and education having been published in prestigious medical books and journals. He is a clinical preceptor at Oregon Health Science University educating the next generation of PAs in Orthopedics. When not at the office, Shane enjoys spending time with family in the outdoors; hiking, biking, hunting, and camping.
